After your reservation, you will receive an email where you can select your timeslot for both museums. Make sure you select the right times and dates because it is not possible to change them afterwards.

How does the Prado Museum Audioguide and Madrid City Audioguide work?
After the reservation you will receive an email with the links to download both audioguides on your smartphone. Bring your earphones to use them. After the download both application can work offline. You do not need a Wifi connection or your mobile network to listen to the audioguide.
How does the Madrid Hop on Hop off Bus work?
You have an open ticket so you can start using it when you want. Your ticket gets activated on the moment you start using it by giving the ticket to the staff member of the bus. You can hop on at one of the stops of the Hop on Hop off Bus.
How do I get the Public Transportation Card?
When you arrive at the Airport of Madrid your taxi driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. The taxi driver will hand you the Public Transportation Card which is valid for 3 days once in the car.

The Public Transportation Card is a physical card with a chip in it. That chip gets scanned when you enter the metro or the bus station. The card is valid for 3 days. It gets activated on the first moment you use it. From that moment it is valid for 3 consecutive days. You can find the metro here. The Public Transportation Card is only valid in Zone A which means only in the municipality zone of Madrid. The Renfe service to Toledo is not included for example.
What if I want to use the Public Transportation Card for only 1 or 2 days? Or when I want to use it for more days?
The Card is valid for 3 Days. Which means you can use it also for 1 or 2 days and stop using it. When you want to use the Public Transportation Card for more than 3 days you can buy it at the metro stations yourself. After using the card 3 days you are an experienced traveller.
How does it work with the Airport Taxi?
After your reservation we will send you an email where you can fill in the information that we need to arrange the private airport taxi. We need to know the following information: your mobile phone number, your flight number, your arrival time, the name of your accommodation and the address of your accommodation. When you arrive later because of a delay you can contact the taxi company. We will send you this information after the booking. The taxi driver will be waiting for you with your name on a sign at the arrival hall. Then he/she will guide you to the taxi and drive you to your accommodation. The payment is already done so you do not have to pay anything! It does not matter if you stay at a Hotel, Bed and Breakfast, Airbnb, Hostel or any other kind of accommodation so long as it is in Madrid.
I am already in Madrid can I book the City Pass with an airport transfer from my accommodation to the airport?

We recommend to make the reservation all at once or that you coordinate that you book at the same time. The Prado Museum and Royal Palace of Madrid attracts many tourists and therefore timeslots can run out quickly.
What do I do when I did not received my tickets?
After your purchase you will receive an email with more information about the City Pass and where you can select the timeslots for the Prado Museum or Royal Palace of Madrid. Please check your SPAM first when not received. It is possible that this ended up in your SPAM. When you filled in your preference of timeslots than you will receive the tickets soon after.
